Framed by the 10 Days of Celestial Bodies, the stories follow N.E.W.T. through a looping energy blueprint tuned to seasons, planets, and stars, where pleasure and spellwork sit beside discipline, dialogue, and the underworld pull of transformation. But the book never floats above lived reality. It keeps returning to what the narrator names as money game, to the ways nature is stolen, displaced, and made unreachable, and to the psychic residue this leaves behind. In response, Aqueous reaches for a different way of being: sensorial, embodied, and fiercely attentive to the natural world, where comfort is a practice and belonging is something you make with others, again and again.
