The Jungle Book

Rudyard Kipling's classic story of Mowgli and his life in the jungle Meet the human boy Mowgli, the sleek panther Bagheera, the sleepy brown bear Baloo, and the conniving tiger Shere Khan in one of the world's best-loved books. The Jungle Book is a collection of short stories and poems centred on a charming cast of characters. We follow Mowgli on his journey to learn the Law of the Jungle from his animal companions and are introduced to some of the jungle's other wonderful inhabitants in stories such as 'Rikki-Tikki-Tavi' and 'The White Seal'.

This new edition includes the original illustrations of Rudyard's father, J. Lockwood Kipling, as well as an afterword by writer and editor David Stuart Davies.
